Is the AWOL Academy A Scam

AWOL Academy is an educational platform focused on teaching people about making money through affiliate marketing.

AWOL stands for ‘Another Way of Life.’ You not only get training, but you also get tools, coaching, curriculum and support. The program is aimed at newbies as well as experienced people. You can buy different courses from this platform based on your needs. There are 6 courses being offered at the time of writing this review.

The founders of this platform are Kameron George and Keala Kanae. The name AWOL Academy came from Project AWOL, which was associated with Empower Network. Due to a disagreement with Empower Network, Project AWOL came to an end in the year 2013. In 2015, this platform was created by the founders.

In this AWOL Academy review, I will share my viewpoint about this platform and help you in making a decision. I recommend reading till the end to avoid missing anything important.

Overview

Product Name: AWOL Academy

Overall Rating: 7.1 out of 10

How Does AWOL Academy Work?

I will try to cover all of the courses that are offered. My focus will be on explaining the basic training in detail.

So, the basic training package is called Pro Academy. It is about affiliate marketing by using paid traffic. Before you can access the training, you will have to complete a few steps. First of all, you will have to watch a short video, then you will have to complete your profile and contact information.

The third step is to fill a questionnaire about yourself and your goals. The final step is to book a coaching call. Once you are done with the steps, you will get access to the training.

In the beginning, you will be given an overview of the training and fundamentals will be explained. After you have a good grasp of the framework of your business, you will be taught about building your sales funnel. To build a sales funnel, you will need a landing page and an autoresponder.

The landing page is the page before your sales page, which will collect emails of people.

The autoresponder will be integrated with your landing page allowing you to build an email list.

You can later use the email list to promote more products and earn more money. Tracking is also important, so you will need a tracking system. The training covers all of this and recommends the services that you should use.

More Information About AWOL Academy

Obviously, you will not earn money without having products that you can promote. How to find affiliate products that you can promote is covered in the training.

The entire process is covered in detail, and you are shown how to sign up for different recommended affiliate programs. Now the only missing element is traffic.

Unfortunately, the training only covers paid traffic methods with a focus on solo ads. Solo ads allow you to send emails promoting products to the email list of someone else. There are a lot of people with big email lists related to popular niches that are willing to offer solo ads at the right price.

Keala will explain what they are, how much you will have to pay and the way of utilizing them.

Other topics that are covered in the training are email marketing, maximizing revenue, tracking, etc. The Pro Academy training is decent, and it can actually allow people to get results. It is not hyped up and sets realistic expectations. There is a lot of value for the price that you will pay for this course.

What Are the Courses Offered?

Now let us take a look at the rest of the courses.

Internet Income Explained: A 4 module training about the basics of internet marketing.

Inbox Academy: This is a detailed course about taking your email marketing to the next level.

Conversion Academy: It will teach you techniques and strategies useful for increasing your conversions.

Traffic Academy: It focuses on generating quality leads by using Facebook.

Masters Academy: It is an advanced course that teaches about the right mindset and managing money in the long run.

AWOL Elite: This is the most expensive course for serious marketers, who are looking for what is working right now and weekly personalized coaching.

The basic training (Pro Academy and Internet Income Explained) is really good, but I am not so sure about the rest of the courses as they are on the expensive side.

How Much Does It Cost To Join?

Here are the courses that are offered in AWOL Academy and their prices.

Pro Academy: $99

Internet Income Explained: $49

Inbox Academy: $447

Conversion Academy: $1,797

Traffic Academy: $2,997

Masters Academy: $5,497

The price of AWOL Academy should be approximately $10,000, but I am not sure because it is not mentioned on the website. As you can see, the upsells get quite expensive and that is why you need to think whether you need to buy them or not.

How Much Can I Earn?

Your earnings will depend on a lot of factors including how many courses you buy and your level of dedication.

The training will not teach you the safest way of earning money, but it can work if you are patient. Solo ads are not simple, and you may end up spending a lot of money before you get good results from them.

The other source of traffic that the training focuses on is Facebook ads, which is also not the most newbie-friendly source of traffic.

The training teaches a lot of important stuff that you need to get good results. You should be able to do well if you choose your niche and your products wisely. The basic training doesn’t teach you everything, but it is more than enough to get results. You can buy the more advanced courses after you start seeing some great results.

In the end, you should be able to reach a full-time income after several months of hard work.

You have to be very smart and patient about spending money to succeed because it is very easy to lose money.

Are There Any Complaints?

Yes, I have listed some of the complaints below.

AWOL is a scam.

Advertising is misleading.

I was misled to believe that I needed this program to succeed at this online course. It turns out that I didn’t need this.

Bottom Line

AWOL Academy is not a scam because their training works and provides valuable insights. I would recommend it to those who are interested in earning money through paid traffic. How Do I Personally Earn Money Online?

I know that you want to try and invest your money in AWOL Academy because you already discovered the earning potential of online marketing. We are already in the new age so this can be a good source of income.

But let me tell you that earning online is not a get rich quick scheme. You have to be patient and consistent in building the foundation of your business.

If you are still looking for a new source of income that can help you, then you can also look into my personal choice.

Affiliate marketing is a modern way of earning. It is not hard to understand as long as you have a system to follow and support from group of people who shares the same interest as you.

My best passive income source that I suggest would be making your own online business with a support from community.

Right now, I am on my third year in this community and I am already enjoying the fruits of my labor. So, I want to share the things that I did so you can also follow and benefit from it.
