My Rating: 6.8 out of 10.0

What is the Jumpcut Academy?

Jumpcut Academy is a training course that  claims to teach people on how to make money through YouTube. It covers a wide variety of topics related to YouTube.

The entire training is divided into a main course and bonus courses. By the way, Jesse and Kong, the creators of this training course have a successful channel on YouTube by the name of ‘Simple Pickup’. This training program is their attempt to enable common people to make a full-time income on YouTube.

In this review, I will take a closer look at this product and try to determine whether this is a scam or not. This review is based on my honest research about it. I recommend that you read the entire review before thinking about buying this product.

How Does Jumpcut Academy Work?

The following are the different training courses that are part in the program.

The Viral Academy: This is a step-by-step course about getting started and making a full-time income from YouTube. The entire length of this training course is 5 hours and 12 minutes. This part of the course is taught by Jesse, Kong and many others.

Growth Hacking Facebook: This part of the training is about getting a lot of likes on Facebook in a relatively short amount of time. James Shamshi is going to teach you about growth hacking Facebook.

He has accomplished a lot by using his strategies for growth hacking and he has growth hacked a Facebook page into 1.6 million likes in less than 7 months.

The Art of Vlogging: You will learn about how to be a successful vlogger from David So. David has grown his channel to more than 1 million subscribers and this part of the training is going to be useful for those who are interested in vlogging.

The Legalities of YouTube: It can be horrible to lose your channel because of repeated copyright infringement. You will be taught how to avoid copyright infringement and protect your channel.

Musicians on YouTube: It is true that YouTube can provide you with a lot of exposure if you do it right. The training will teach you how to jumpstart your YouTube music channel.

The JK Empire: You will see the life of JK Family in this part of the training.

More Information About Jumpcut Academy…

Gaming For Dollars: Jirard Khalil will teach you how to make a living by playing video games.

Behind The Scenes Conversations: This part of the training is about the conversations between successful YouTubers so that you can learn from them. This entire course is about 5 hours and 58 minutes long, which means that there is a lot of useful information in this part.

Jumpcut Radio: You will hear about the journey of content creators from 1 to 100k+ followers.

Master The Funny: This is the last bonus course and it is about comedy. You will learn about developing and refining the skill of comedy.

There is a lot of information in the training and you will get the chance to learn from many successful people. I like the fact that the training is not limited to a certain niche, but it covers many different niches in YouTube. You will obviously benefit by learning from people who have done something successfully.

The issue that I have is that the training is not going to teach you something that is unheard of. The training dives into so many topics that it is easy to get confused.

Still, I would say that the training is of good quality and certainly better than many products out there.

How Much Does It Cost to Join?

Jumpcut Academy costs for $997 (one-time  payment) or $197month. The price is really high in my opinion. On the other hand, they still offer a 365 day money back guarantee, but you need to complete certain assignments to get your money back.

How Much Can I Earn?

Your earnings will depend on many factors, including the niche that you pick and your hard work. The training is good, but it can’t guarantee your success.

YouTube can allow you to earn thousands of dollars per month and live a boss free lifestyle. The problem is that your chances of earning a full-time income aren’t too bright.

There is a lot of competition on YouTube and all of the niches covered in the training are highly competitive. Many people who are successful in those niches started years ago when there was much less competition. It is going to take a lot of time and effort to see results in competitive niches.

I think most people will struggle to make money even after following the training. Some people will indeed reach a full-time income, but it can take years of hard work before they succeed.

Are there Any Complaints?

Yes, and I have listed some of the major concerns below.

The price of the training is really high and may overwhelm beginners.

It can be hard to make money through the training.

Bottom Line

In my opinion, Jumpcut Academy is definitely not a scam. It offers some reliable information that you can use to make your own online business. They also offer training and courses that can give you the basics of online marketing.

But I must say that this program is somehow expensive. So you must think several times before you invest your hard earned money. It can be an issue to some people who are tight in budget. The money back guarantee is there, so it is a good way to lessen the risk

Nevertheless, I still leave the final decision in your hands. Good luck and choose wisely.

  • Teaches the basics of online marketing
  • Plenty of training and courses

  • Somehow Costly
  • Can be overwhelming for some people
  • Support can be improved

How I Earn Money Online?

I know that you want to invest in Jumpcut Academy because you already discovered the earning potential of having your own online business.

But I must say that this kind of business is not that easy. It requires patience and great support in order to succeed.

Now, if you are still looking for other ways of earning, then you can also look into my personal favorite. My best suggestion would be through making your own online business with a support from community.

Basically, you will earn by just following your passion.

Right now, I am on my second year in this community and want to share my success with you.

  1. I am disappointed that the “one off payment” of $997(US) for the course is not the entire course, you have to pay another $997 to access the rest of the course which is the processing of your project or video online. If I had known in the beginning I would have signed up for the second bit, the process part that I needed. Just very frustrating.

  2. I bought the package with the assumption I could get my refund. I did all the work, watched all the lectures twice and followed through with the program. However, it’s so much work it was almost impossible for me to finish so I put it off at times. It honestly just makes your procrastinate more than anything because you’re trying to finish the class rather than grow your channel. I am now sitting here requesting my refund. Let’s see if this is a scam! Will update you if they don’t refund me back.

  3. Is anyone who has commented here ACTUALLY completed the entire course? Because you all seem to be screaming scam because you don’t like their marketing and it costs you money. You know, like very business service ever made.

It requires effort and due diligence to succeed? Well no sh*t Sherlock! No source of income based off creative properties will have a full proof plan as people have differing tastes and every market is saturated. The aim of the course is to give the BEST chance at succeeding. How much you succeed and how long it takes is down to your effort and outside factors in no-ones control. This is the problem with so many people wanting things now; they don’t just want you to show them the path, they want you to lead them down it while they sleep and wake them up when you get to the destination. Even then, it best not cost too much money or you claim how much it can help me as now you are definitely a scam.

Clearly none of you have went through the bootcamp they offer (at no extra cost and with monetary rewards and mentorships on offer), where they personally review and help you grow in putting out content. They are always constantly updating and asking for feedback and I had a phone conversation with one of their team about improving their video review system before they launched it. I didn’t call them, they asked who would be willing to discuss it and they called us. It was an actual person, taking notes from an actual customer on how they could improve the service which had no financial value to the company, only value to the customer experience.

So yes, they make money off these courses, yes they are quite expensive, but the value is there but it isn’t spoon fed, no-work-required, get rich quick schemes. Basically, it seems most of you want a pyramid scheme and the like, but without the bit where you lose money. Guess what, that doesn’t exist. I probably should build a course explaining all this to you, which I’ll charge a dollar for and you will still all complain before you finish it and say it was a scam and didn’t change anything. Because you don’t want to change anything, ironically, you are the ones just after the money.

  4. This is a scam. These videos don’t convey anything except repetitive, sensationalized, fake advice and nonstop compliments for their own useless brand and content. Don’t waste your time, especially money, and reward these kinds of exploitation of content creators.

I can save you $1000: Just keep creating your content, keep posting it, improve your quality as you go. It will take some time but if your content is good you will be successful. End of story.

  5. It’s just like every other wanna- be- rich opportunity. Think about it, if you had a sure fire way to make a lot of money quickly and easily, would you share it with everyone? Well of course not, you’d be a total idiot if you did!

  6. Jumpcut produces more than just the YouTube video series. In my opinion the new “AIM” (Automated Income Machine) is on the edge of being a scam machine involving creating a plethora of fake “experts” out on the web.

I dropped the $1200.00CAN and I very much regret the decision. I am stuck with the bill because I do not have the heart to follow through on creating the scam required to be able to “ask” for my money back based on the terms of the agreement.

These guys have become no better than “Cambridge Analytical” in their tactics of creating #FakeExperts. JumpCut is little more than a corruption machine that may be legal, though, I have to wonder, by creating fake experts is it really ethical?

  7. I did the course and finished it in a month. I didn’t know where to find any of this information in one place. None of it worked for me like they promised and when I asked for a refund, they said you had to pay the entire amount first, since I was on a payment program. They also make you prove you worked the program 5 hours a week in order to get the refund. To give you an idea, I also did Video Creators “30 Days to a better youtube channel” which didn’t work, and I got a refund. But if you think Jumpcut is expensive, Video Creators also does a once a year video series where you join together with a group of 20 other creators, led by YouTube guru, Tim Schmoyer. Turn your vision into reality with this 10-week, private, in-depth training. Receive the expert advice, clear guidance, and on-going accountability needed to:

    Grow your channel
    Build your community
    Spread your message

    for $1497.

This price range is normal for these video series, but they don’t give you results they claim.

  8. I first saw Jumpcuts ad in Instagram and was intrigued to learn more about it, but thankfully after researching it out and looking through various reviews and information about the company and its content I am 100% certain that it is just a scam. There already exists a plethora of different “how to” type videos on YouTube alone that teach you all the information that Jumpcut teaches you and you could find even far greater information all for free. It’d be one thing if Jumpcut’s fee was for $20.00, but nearly $1000??? I wouldn’t even pay that much for just one advanced physics class (supplies and all) at a college and would still have enough money left to even take another expensive college class. My point being that absolutely none of the information that Jumpcut sells you is worth the dollar, not all of the information is even viable. Jumpcut is 100% a scam.
