Product Overview

Company Name: LifeVantage

My Rating: 6.8 out of 10.0

How Does LifeVantage Work?

There are different requirements to be eligible for earning different bonuses from the compensation plan of this company. There are many ways to earn and your earnings will depend on many things such as your rank and your personal volume in the calendar month.

Following are some of the ways that you can use to earn money from the compensation plan of LifeVantage.

Royalty Commission

The amount of Royalty Commission that you can earn from this company depends on your rank in the organization. Royalty Commissions are paid to you on the basis of the sales of your whole organization. You can earn up to 9 levels deep, but there are restrictions on your maximum earnings based on your rank.

Generational Matching Bonus

You can earn a 10% match of all personally enrolled Distributor’s Royalty Commissions generated from their downline sales. You can earn 5% Generational Matching Bonus on generations 2, 3, 4, and 5 of personally enrolled distributors.

Elite Pool

This bonus is paid to the top rank holders from Pro7 to Pro 10. The Elite Pool pays 4% of the total commissionable sales to the top rank holders. Pro7, 8, 9 and 10 share 1% of the total commissionable sales. Pro8, 9 and 10 share 1% of the total commissionable sales. Pro9 and 10 share 1% of the total commissionable sales. Pro 10 share 1% of the total commissionable sales.

Others

There are obviously other ways to earn money from this company such as Smart Start Bonus Pool and Platinum Pool.

I recommend taking a look at the compensation plan to know more details. The compensation plan is not so unique and it is just like most MLM companies. You can earn a high income only when you advance in the ranks and recruit a strong downline.

How Much Does It Cost to Join?

It will cost you at least $50 if you want to be a Distributor of LifeVantage. The Start Kit is compulsory to buy and it contains 3 corporate brochures, 1 quick start guide, 1 getting started guide, 1 blueprint, 16 basic elements brochure, 1 product sample ingredients, 5 TrueScience anti-ageing cream samples and much more.

You can also buy other kits with this kit. The Start Kit will help you to start your business as a Distributor. I recommend buying this kit and avoiding all the other kits that are not required if you decide to join this company.

How Much Can I Earn?

The company is not so unique. The truth is that this is a multi-level marketing company and most people will fail in this company. The company has provided some information about the average earnings of Distributors on their official website. The information is from September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2015.

A Distributor earns $16 on an average monthly according to the company and I have to say that this is too low. Distributors will have to pay for the Autoship to earn commissions and if we take the Autoship into account, then an average Distributor is losing money instead of earning it.

The figures are not too old and I do not think that much has changed so we can expect the same type of earning right now too. The monthly average for Pro 1, Pro 2 and Pro 3 is $92, $248 and $501 respectively. The earnings of Pro 1, Pro 2 and Pro 3 are not too high either and these earnings do not include the expenses that you will incur.

The average percentage of paid Distributors as percentage of total Distributors is 32.71% for Distributor and 13.49% for Pro 1. I think you can find the rest of the information about the earnings on the website easily. The expected earnings are low in my opinion.

Are there Any Complaints?

Yes, I have seen plenty of complaints and I have listed a few of them below.

Upper management is not running the company well.

There is a lot of work.

Bottom Line

LifeVantage is not a scam and if anyone says that this is a scam, then you must not believe him/her.

I am not going to recommend joining this company because of some strong reasons. The expected earnings are low and there are a lot of complaints. There are better options and the job is uncertain. Nevertheless, I leave the final decision in your hands. Good luck and choose wisely.

Are there Other Ways to Earn?

I know that you want to invest in LifeVantage because you already learned the earning potential of having your own business. I also feel that you want to have a change in your way of life.

But let me tell you that this type of business is not for everyone. If you don’t have the passion about the products that you are selling then  you might face some problems.

On the other hand, if you are still looking for a source of income that can change your life, then you can also give time and take a look into my personal choice. My best suggestion would be through making your own online business with a support from community. Basically it is a modern way of making money. What I like about it is that it doesn’t focus on selling and recruiting.

Right now, I am on my second year in this community and I am already harvesting the fruits of my labor. So, I want to share the things that I did so you can also follow and benefit from it.
