MojiLife Review

Product Overview

Company Name: MojiLife

Owner: Darin Davis

Price to Join: $85

My Rating: 6.7 out of 10.0

What is the MojiLife?

MojiLife is a multi-level marketing company that offers fragrance related products. They also offer home decor, essential oils, and house cleaning. One of the most interesting product that they offer is AirMoji. AirMoji is a device that allows you to infuse your home or office with fragrances and essential oils.

The interesting part is that you can control it through an app. Basically, you can join them as a distributor and earn money by selling their products and building your team. The founder of this company is Darin Davis and the company is headquartered in Lindon, Utah.

In this review, I will take a closer look at this company and try to determine whether this is a scam or not. This is based on my honest research about it. I recommend that you read the entire review before thinking about joining this company.

How Does MojiLife Work?

Since this is a new company that was launched in the year 2016, there aren’t a lot of distributors. So the competition among distributors is not extreme. This will make it a little easier for you to sell the products, but you will surely face competition from distributors of companies like Scentsy.

Anyway, let us focus on their compensation plan.

The company hasn’t provided any information about their compensation plan on their website. Normally it is easy to find the detailed compensation plan of an MLM company, but that is not the case in here.

I had to search the internet and I was able to find some information about them. The information is limited and I am very disappointed by this.

The company pays 20-25% commission on retail sales and this is definitely not the highest in the industry. There are companies that pay 40% or more commission on retail sales, but still the percentage paid by this company is not too bad. By the way, I don’t like the fact that they want new distributors to focus on their warm market. Your warm market includes your family, friends, etc.

The problem with focusing on warm market is that eventually you will run out of friends and family to sell the products to.

They also pay you bonuses for building your team and staying active. You need to earn 20 points monthly in personal volume to retain distributor status. You also have to earn 70 points value monthly in personal volume to qualify for commissions.

You can earn on the total wholesale volume of your team depending on your rank. You can start earning this bonus by qualifying for the rank of Moji Consultant.

There are generational bonuses as well to allow you to earn even more money from your downline. You can earn from up to four generations by qualifying for the position of Life Premier.

There are benefits for hostesses so members also consider hosting party in their houses. The company pays 20% cash when the minimum sales reach $200 in a party.

They also reward hostesses through a gift and 50% off on any product from their catalog. The rewards for hostesses are tempting and many people may agree to host a party at their home if you approach the right group of people.

Even though I haven’t seen their detailed compensation plan, I think that their it is just like the compensation plan of other MLM companies. In simple words, they pay more bonuses to those who recruit and build a downline.

How Much Does It Cost to Join?

You can join in MojiLife by buying the cheapest distributor kit for $85. The cost of shipping and tax has to be paid in addition to the price of the kit that you buy. The following are the kits and their prices.

Basic: $85

Plus: $150

Elite: $335

The price of joining is fair if you choose the cheapest kit and I don’t recommend buying the expensive kits if you decide to join. You can always buy more products if you feel the need to have additional inventory.

How Much Can You Earn?

I could not find an Income Disclosure Statement that has been published by the company and that is understandable because they are just new. The fact remains that this is a multi-level marketing company with non-essential products in a competitive market.

There is no doubt that the price of the products is not high, but they might still be difficult to sell.

While being a new company can be an advantage if you join early, the problem is that the company is not well-known yet. People might not recognize this company right away and that may lead to difficulties in recruiting and selling. In short, I don’t think that most people will earn a lot of money through this company.

Are there Any Complaints?

Yes, and I have listed some of the major concerns below.

The company is new and it will take some time to establish its presence.

They haven’t provided their detailed compensation plan on their website.

Bottom Line

In my opinion, MojiLife is not a scam. They still offer some helpful information on how you can start your own business. The company also has reasonably priced products.

On the other hand, they don’t provide full information in their website and they are new in the market. If you have the passion about selling and recruiting then you can look into this opportunity. Nevertheless, I still leave the final decision in your hands. Good luck and choose wisely.

  • Teaches entrepreneurial skills
  • Good earning potential if done right

  • Climb the ranks to earn more
  • Too much competition
  • Support can be improved

How Can You Earn Money Online?

It seems like you want to invest in MojiLife because you know that having your own business is a way to be financially free. It also feels like you are already tired of not earning that much from your current job.

But let me tell you that this type of business is not that easy. It requires patience and support in order to succeed.

On the other hand, if you are still looking for an efficient and effective way of earning, then you can also look into my personal favorite. My best suggestion would be through making your own online business with a support from community. Basically it is a modern way of making money. And this will enable you to enjoy your working time at home.

Right now, I am on my second year in this community and I am already harvesting the fruits of my labor. So, I want to share my success with you.

  1. Hi! First, I want to say I appreciate the review of MojiLife, it has many great points. I am a MojiLife distributor and I can tell you that MojiLife is definitely not a scam and I have earned more money from selling MojiLife products then I ever did selling Scentsy, Pink Zebra, Plexus, Young Living, or Lilla Rose COMBINED. I have only been a member since August 1 of 2017 and it was the best decision I have ever made. Their products are awesome, and the AirMoji sells itself. I have 14 consultants under me already, in any of the previous things I have sold I never had one consultant, literally not one, and I tried hard to sell all of them, especially Scentsy. MojiLife is innovative and new, and the market is wide open for a company like this, now is the time to join while they only have about 6000 consultants worldwide. Also, regarding your comments about not being able to find the compensation plan readily, if you scroll down to the middle of the MojiLife main page (look on my website) and select JOIN, scroll down a little bit on the page (about mid page) and you will see the link to the PDF for the compensation plan. It’s quite simple to find. I think their compensation is in line with most companies quite honestly, at least from the ones I have done in the past. Also, just as a side note regarding recruiting, I hate that part of it too, so far I have not had to recruit anybody, this product has literally sold itself and people that sign up sign up because they want to, not because I do a hard sell to join. It has been an amazing blessing for me this last six months.

Being part of an MLM is not for everyone, that is for sure, but once you find the right MLM for you, it can be truly awesome!

  2. Hi there,
I have just read your post with more than a passing interest as for a number of years, I worked with a few MLM companies and never had much succes.
To be honest, I have never heard of mojilife before today, but as you rightly pointed out, they are only recently established.
I found it hard to work the mlm system when I was with involved with those types of companies, mainly, I found recruiting difficult at times. The one downside to mlm is, if we did’nt recruit into the business, we would find it hard to make money.
However there are better opportunities available online as per you #1 recommendation.
The beauty about WA is there is no inventry to be dealing with, no ordering products, no deliveries or invoicing, which makes life very easy.
Thanks again for this interesting post,
    Best wishes,
