Opinion Square Review – Can You Really Earn Cash & Prizes?

Opinion Square Review

What is Opinion Square?

Opinion Square is a website that rewards you for sharing your opinion through surveys. They reward you with points that can be redeemed for prizes, cash or entries into sweepstakes.

Companies like this one collect the information that you provide them, and it is used by other companies to improve their products and services. The website is easy to navigate and has a very simple layout. It looks a bit old to be honest with you.

They have over 2 million users, which shows that they are not a small website among other survey websites. The company focuses on helping companies understand how the consumers use the internet. In other words, they deal with companies that offer products and services online.

In this review, we will see if this company is worth joining or not as there are plenty of market research companies that you can join in its place. This review is not biased because I don’t want to promote this company here.

How does Opinion Square work?
In certain cases, you may get the message that you are not eligible to join after trying to join. They don’t really explain why you are not eligible to join, but the reason is your country. Their website is surely available in the US and Canada, but you might face issues if you are from other countries.

Anyway, if you are from the US or Canada, then the sign-up process is pretty simple. You will just need to enter your basic information like your name, date of birth, address and answer some personal questions to join. After you finish your registration, you are asked to download their software. The software is called Goodware Resource and Information Database or GRID.

The software that they ask you to download tracks your internet activity. This is not something that I have seen in any other survey website. It seems like a good way to find out relevant surveys for you. It is not necessary to install the software to earn from this website, but your earning opportunities will be limited if you choose not to install the software.

If you are concerned about your privacy, then you can obviously avoid downloading their software.

You can do surveys on their website and also receive survey emails. They claim that you can receive around 3 to 4 surveys per month. Obviously, there will be months where you will get more surveys, and there will be months where you will not receive a single survey.

What do you get for doing the surveys? Well, you get points or cash for doing any survey. You also get tokens that can be used for playing games and winning points or other prizes. The tokens that you get expire within the quarter that you receive them in. If you fail to qualify for a survey even after attempting it, then they might reward you tokens for attempting the survey.

You must remember that a survey will not be available forever. As soon as they have the required number of participants, they will close the survey. So, you need to keep an eye on your email and participate in a survey as soon as possible.

You can also win sweepstakes and win up to $100,000. I don’t want to make it complicated, so I will not go into details. There are four monthly prizes of $25 that you can win. There are three bonuses prizes of different levels namely A, B and C. The Bonus Grand Prize A is of $100,000, the Bonus Grand Prize B is of $5,000 and The Bonus Grand Prize C is of $2,500.

There are two bonus prizes available for each level per year. You can get entries into sweepstakes by doing the surveys, joining research panels and completing the online registration form. You need to remember that you can only do one entry in a day regardless of the method of entry.

They offer various rewards that you can choose from when you decide to redeem your points. They are a decent website that offers other attractive opportunities in addition to surveys. I don’t think that they are the best survey website, but they are not bad at all.

How much does it cost to join?

It is completely free to join their website as long as you are eligible. I have already mentioned the eligibility criteria above, so I won’t repeat it here. I want you to beware of survey websites that ask you to spend money to join them. Most of the survey websites that ask money for joining turn out to be scams. They usually promise you a lot of money per survey to get you to pay the money.

How much can I earn?
I haven’t seen a legit survey website that can allow you to earn a full-time income yet. The problem with survey websites is that the surveys don’t pay a fair amount of money for your time. So, if you have better online opportunities available, then there is no need to get involved in surveys. They can only be used to earn something in your free time.

The sweepstakes are very hard to win. The sweepstake with the $100,000 prize will be almost impossible to win as there will be a lot of participants and a lot of them will have multiple entries. You can try to do the most entries to increase your chances of winning, but I don’t think that you can expect to win any sweepstake. The odds are not in your favor at all.

I know you want to see some numbers. Unfortunately, I can’t give you the exact numbers but only an idea about what you can expect to earn. I think that most people can expect to earn around $5 to $15 per month by doing surveys. This is an estimate, so your real earnings can be lower if you don’t fit the demographics of a lot of surveys.

Are there any complaints?

Yes, I have listed some complaints below.
I think Opinion Square is pretty much defunct.
I haven’t received a single survey.

Opinion Square is not a scam. They have been around for a while and still pay people on time. The major complaints about this company are the low pay and the lack of surveys, which can be found in almost any survey website. Honestly, I don’t recommend this website, but you are free to try it if you want. You just need to have low expectations and be ready to earn a low amount of money. Good luck.
