Powur Review: Is It Another MLM Scam?

Powur Review

This review is all about the Powur. Do you want to know if this MLM business is legit or just a scam? Are you curios if you can really earn from this opportunity? Well, I suggest that you read this review to clear your doubts about it.

What is the Powur?

Powur is a multi-level marketing company that promotes solar panels from different solar installers. In simple words, the company connects homeowners to the solar companies in their region.

You can become an Advisor for this company and make money through this opportunity. However, the website doesn’t showcase any solar panels and it doesn’t contain any information about the cost of the products. In reality, Powur acts as the sales division for the company SolarCity. SolarCity is a company that revolves around solar power systems.

In this review, I will take a closer look at this company and try to determine whether this is a scam or not. This is based on my honest research about it. I recommend that you read the entire review before thinking about joining this company.

How Does Powur Business Work?

The compensation plan is not available on their website and this is not the ideal situation. Every MLM company should publish their compensation plan on their website so that people can judge the company before joining.

On the other hand, I was able to find the compensation plan of the company from some other online source. It was published in the year 2016 so maybe it is not the latest version.

Here are the ways of making money through the compensation plan.

Fast Start Bonus: You will earn this bonus by simply submitting 3 qualified leads to SolarCity within your first 60 days of the date of enrollment. This bonus allows you to earn $75, but you can only earn this bonus once.

20 Year Solar Residual Bonuses: You can make money by building a team and making sure that they continue to bring customers. You can earn in the range of $0.10-$1.00 per customer that your downline brings depending on the generation. You will make the lowest amount from your personally enrolled partners and the earnings will increase as you earn from more generation levels.

Higher ranks will allow you to earn from more generation levels, but it is not going to be easy to qualify for the higher ranks. This bonus is paid monthly for 20 years.

Lead Acquisition Bonus: You will be paid a fixed bonus amount when your newly sponsored partners become qualified within 60 days from their start date. Here is how this bonus is paid depending on your rank.

Qualified Partner: $75

Senior Powur Partner: $125

National Powur Partner: $150

Game Changer: $250

National Game Changer: $350

Hero: $375

Team Qualified Lead Acquisition Bonus: This bonus is paid when Powur partners acquire new leads to become qualified within 60 days of their start date. The Powur partners must be part of your organization. You may earn this bonus after qualifying for Senior Powur Partner or higher positions.

There are other ways of making money through the compensation plan like the Team Performance Bonus. I must say that the plan is not that impressive as you will only earn $200 for each lead that turns into a solar installation.

The ranks are not at all easy to achieve and you will most likely start struggling from the beginning.

The company hasn’t mentioned on their website about their relation to SolarCity and the compensation plan is also missing from the website so I find it hard to trust them.

How Much Does It Cost to Join?

The lack of transparency of this company is surely one of the things that I dislike. The cost of joining is not mentioned anywhere on their website.

You will need the email id of the person who referred you if you want to join. I think that the cost of joining wouldn’t be too high as the company wants maximum people to join them. You will not be required to buy product kits as the product is solar panels.

How Much Can I Earn?

I don’t think that it would be wise to have a lot of expectations from this company. MLM companies don’t sell solar panels normally and many people might not be interested in buying them. It would be hard to find people who are willing to buy and compared to some products of other MLM companies it would definitely be harder.

If the products are hard to sell, then you would also find it difficult to build a downline.

Even if you are able to recruit some people, they might leave after having difficulty in selling solar panels. I am not saying that there is no chance of succeeding, but you will need to be really good to succeed. So I don’t think that most people will make a good income through this company.

Are there Any Complaints?

Yes, and I have listed some of the major concerns below.

The earnings for most people aren’t going to be good.

The company hasn’t disclosed much on their website.

Bottom Line

In my opinion, Powur is not a scam because they still offer some helpful ways on how you can have an extra source of income.

But there are still several issues with this company. The support system can be improved. The products are going to be hard to sell and you will most likely have a hard time on dealing with them.

Nevertheless, I still leave the final decision in your hands. Good luck and choose wisely.

Pros

  • Great Earing potential if done right
  • Teaches basics of entrepreneurial skills

Cons

  • Climb the ranks to earn more
  • Not much information on their website
  • Support system should be improved

I know that you want to invest in Powur because you already discovered the earning potential of having your own business. I also feel that you want to have another source of income.

But let me tell you that this type of business is quite challenging. It requires great support in order to guide you throughout the process.

On the other hand, if you are still looking for an effective way of earning, then you can also look into my personal choice. My best suggestion would be through making your own online business with a support from community. Basically it is a modern way of making money. And this will enable you to enjoy your working time at home.

Right now, I am on my second year in this community and I am already harvesting the fruits of my labor. So, I want to share my success with you.

  1. New company on the list. I hope this Powur survive the going, as according to your review, this is just new and very selective to what product they are promoting. Thanks for this review of yours. Next time a friend on Facebook invite me to this, I will have an answer to give.

Like you, I don’t like companies that lack transparency. Also, companies that ask you to put in money regularly as a “maintenance”. Many people don’t notice that even though they generate income, much of the money is being put back to the company in the form of maintenance or monthly payments just to stay in the game.

Have you inquired how much maintenance they are asking per month?
