What is the Sweet Minerals?

Sweet Minerals is a multi-level marketing company that sells makeup. You can find products in the categories of lips, cheeks, collections, eyes, face and some others on their website.

The company offers a lot of products and the price range is somehow high. They offer high-quality products so the customers get what they pay for. This company was founded in the year 2012.

The founders of this company are Candace, Chrissy and Heather. They unveiled their mineral makeup line at a women’s show and watching the reaction of the people they realized that their products could do well. Finally, the company was formed and launched.

In this review, I will take a closer look at this company and try to determine whether this is a scam or not. This is based on my honest research about it. I recommend that you read the entire review before thinking about joining this company.

How Does Sweet Minerals Work?

Let us take a look at the ways of earning money through the compensation plan of this company.

You will get a 25% discount when you buy the products as a distributor of the company. You can make the sales to the customers at the retail price and earn your 25% commission. The website is also there to aid you in making your sales.

When your sales are more than a certain amount, the company will pay you an additional bonus on your sales. This bonus is paid in addition to your personal commission.

You will need to achieve more than $600 sales in a month to start earning the personal bonus. It is paid in the range of 5% – 15% depending on your monthly sales.

Their compensation plan pays a promotion bonus when you are able to hold a high rank for three consecutive months. It is paid after the rank of Team Educator or higher.

The promotion bonus may pay you a cash bonus as well as Sweetcash. Sweetcash are reward dollars that you can use to purchase the products of the company. The highest ranks only pay a cash bonus.

The overrides are paid on the commissionable volume of your downline. Your downline is formed when you start recruiting people and they recruit others as well.

Basically, the people that you directly sponsor become your immediate family team members. The people in your downline beyond your immediate family team members are known as extended family team members. The point is that the company pays different overrides on the immediate and extended family team members.

The overrides are paid on various levels. They are paid in the range of 1% – 10% depending on your rank as well as your personal volume in a month.

Obviously, a higher rank and a higher personal volume will allow you to earn more from your downline. You can start earning the overrides when you reach the rank of Flawless Educator.

There are other ways of earning through the compensation plan like incentive trips. I could not find any mention of generational bonuses in their compensation plan and it looks like that the company doesn’t pay this kind of bonus. Although, you can earn overrides on infinite levels when you reach the highest rank in the compensation plan.

You are required to maintain a personal volume of $150 every two months to stay engaged. In simple words, you will need a personal volume of $150 every two months if you want to earn bonuses on all ranks except the highest rank.

How Much Does It Cost to Join?

Based on my last research, the starter kit for Sweet Mineral costs for $99. The price of the kit may change so you may want to check their website for the latest information.

The kit contains a lot of products. It also has one month subscription to personal website, liability insurance and app. You will have to pay $8.99/month after that for the personal website, liability insurance and app.

How Much Can You Earn?

The products of this company are of high-quality but that is not enough to ensure that you will make a lot of sales. The biggest advantage of the products of this company is the forever guarantee. This shows that the company believes in its products, but unfortunately they don’t come cheap.

Many people may choose a cheaper alternative in the competitive market.

The compensation plan is good, but it gets really hard to advance without the support from your downline. As most people fail in companies like this one, it will be very hard to build a downline of people who stay in the long run.

There are personal requirements as well so you can’t just sit back and relax after building a big downline. Personally, I don’t think that most people will earn a full-time income after joining this company.

Are there Any Complaints?

Yes, and I have listed some of the major concerns below.

 The products are expensive.

There are a lot of MLM companies that sell makeup thus brings more competition.

Bottom Line

In my opinion, Sweet Minerals is not a scam. They still offer some helpful information on how you can build your own business.

On the other hand, I must say that they still need to improve some aspects of their business like the support system. Nevertheless, I still leave the final decision in your hands. Good luck and choose wisely.

  • Teaches entrepreneurial skills
  • Promising earning potential

  • Too much competition
  • Climb the ranks to earn more commissions
  • Support can be improved

How Can You Earn Money Online?

It seems like you want to join in Sweet Minerals because you want to build something that can help you achieve financial freedom.

But let me tell you that this type of business is not for everyone. If you don’t have the passion towards promoting the products that they offer then it maybe somehow challenging for you to succeed.

On the other hand, if you are still looking for a new source of income, then you can also take a look into my personal choice. My best suggestion would be through making your own online business with a support from community. Basically it is a modern way of making money. And it doesn’t require any selling or recruiting.

Right now, I am on my second year in this type of business and I am already enjoying the fruits of my labor. So, I want to share my success with you.

Great review, I hadn’t heard of Sweet Minerals but I found this concept extremely interesting.

I’m an eCommerce manager with a background in luxury fashion. Working parallel to the luxury beauty industry; I instantly knew this wasn’t going to be good. The demographic for high-end makeup is a very loyal to their preferred brands. And with beauty being so heavily influencer- influenced, a “social” brand could never thrive against a reputable or influencer-approved brand in today’s climate. I feel like unless women are willing to get their hands dirty, record demo videos using the makeup and build a community around the brand, just selling to your inner circle could be cute at first for those who want to support you, but they’d eventually return to their loyalty brand. Nice in theory (girls making money selling designer makeup), but not on this business model!

In every business, we really need to be persistent and hard working in order to achieve our goals. So no matter what the business model is, it all depends on your personal motivation and perseverance.
